Last evening we attended our first "Northern Narratives" gathering sponsored by the Fargo Public Library. They annually choose and publish poetry, stories, and photographs from submitted work. They chose two of mine - The Gettysburg Battlefield and A Homestead Mother - and included them in a fine volume. The pictures show me presenting one of them to the large crowd and the other is the photography winner with a picture of her son not knowing what to do with the frog on his shirt. We'll post a video later today.
